Facts: I placed the order with expedited shipping on day 1. On Day 2 I called and requested the order be cancelled since I did not receive notification from Amazon that it shipped. At that time, their customer service person informed me it was already shipped, and with expedited delivery, they could not recall it – fair enough I thought. Latter in Day 2 (4 hours latter) I received notification from Amazon that the item had shipped.
On Day 8, with a total shipping distance of 400 miles to cover from the vendor’s door to my door, I returned at my expense for refund via US mail. The vendor received it back faster than I got with EXPEDIATED SHIPPING, which was also the reason they claimed they could not stop the order.
In the end, I was refunded $13. 00 for an item with a Subtotal purchase price of $17. 43 with $16. 98 in Shipping Handling to me. Clearly they charged me some form of restocking fee when they received it back.
Choose the company you purchase from wisely; do not focus on the price.

It seems to be fine, it works, I really have not used it as much as I normally use my gps, but when I am able to get out of the office, I will see if it holds up to keeping my gps going. I am sure it is going to do a great job.

It is said, ‘Keep your powder dry!’ when talking about rifles and guns. The same can be said of your GPS power adapter. Keep it dry and protected from the weather. I didn’t and needed a replacement when mine stopped working.
This adapter is a genuine Magellan replacement item for use with their Crossover GPS. It is available on the Magellan website for considerably more than the price here. . . Duh. . .

My original car charger stopped working and I got this one as a replacement. It is almost identical as the original one: the original charger had “coils” while the one I got is just straight. The charger works great – would definitely recommend it!
